Gmash Jewels is committed to respecting the privacy rights of its website users, as well as recognizing the importance of protecting the Personal Data submitted by the client upon communications, subscriptions, registrations and purchases.
Our adapted Privacy Policy acts as a guide on how we use the Personal Data you provide us with. Personal Data we collect refers to all the personally identifiable information disclosed to us by the client that allow us to successfully process your orders, including but not limited to the name, telephone number, email address, billing and delivery addresses and financial details.
We may also disclose your Personal Data to any relevant regulatory body where there is a legal obligation to do so. You do not however need to provide Personal Data in order to access and browse our website.
A client automatically accepts and consents to the practices described in this Privacy Policy and allows us to use their Personal Data whether by using our website or by visiting our warehouse. We may require to change some of the practices we implement in gathering and processing Personal Data at times, and hence it is the client’s responsibility to check our Privacy Policy regularly for amendments.
To update or correct any of the Personal Data a client entered, he/she can simply make the necessary changes by logging into their account.
The Personal Data we collect, store and use online, by phone or at sales/marketing events are necessary and will be used for the following purposes:
- To process and maintain the registration of an account.
- To safely administer orders, payments and delivery/shipping, in order to provide the client with a personalized shopping experience or possibly detect and protect against frauds and financial unauthorized transactions. We do not however store confidential information of used methods of payments including but not limited to name, credit-card/debit-card number, expiry date and CVV/CVC as these are directly shared with authorized service providers.
- To share marketing news and updates on products and events. Communications will be directly made by Gmash Jewels to the client as we do not claim the right to sell or pass Personal Data to a third party for marketing purposes.
- To improve our services by using provided Personal Data to conduct statistical studies.
- To provide satisfactory levels of customer service, and be able to address queries and resolve complaints.
- To deliver a specific service requested by the client.
- To accelerate easier methods of communication between us and the client.
- To manage in order to elevate the safety levels on our systems, networks and communication gateways as required or permitted by legal authorities.
- To retain and monitor necessary records for any forthcoming needs.
- To defend ourselves against any legal claims by enforcing our legal rights as per the policies and agreements stated in our website or otherwise as per applicable by the laws and regulations in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
OPT-IN and OPT-OUT Provision
When a client registers for an account on our website, he/she will be given the option to subscribe to our regular update service that sends email alerts about but not limited to new products, events of interest and partnerships. You can choose not to receive such communications at anytime by unsubscribing to the service you have subscribed to previously. Personal Data Collected
Gmash Jewels collects data when visitors register, login or link the account with Google, Facebook, Apple , Twitter. It collects the following data: email address, name, social provider identifier and access token as well as profile pictures. It stores the personal data on Gmash Jewels database site and does not share it with anyone except the access token which is used for the authenticated communication with the social providers (Google, Facebook, Apple).
We use the personal data collected by the social providers (Google, Facebook, Apple) to create account on Gmash Bahrain website and mobile app when the visitor authorizes it.
Gmash Jewels Stores things in the browser and must create a cookie for visitors who use the social login (Google, Facebook, Apple) authorization flow. This cookie is required for every provider to secure the communication and to redirect the user back to the last location/destination. We do not collect telemetry data, directly or indirectly, and does not enqueue JavaScript, tracking pixels or embed iframes from a third party.
We remove the collected personal data when the user deletes his account from Gmash Jewels Website. To delete your account including all data on our website, please contact us.
Copy of Identification
According to the Ministerial order number 173 of 2017, Gmash Jewels, a registered jewelry company in the Kingdom of Bahrain is obliged by law to obtain a copy of ID including national identification card or passport copy. This law is under the Kingdom’s efforts to combat the laundering of money and financing of terrorism.
Clients will be contacted via WhatsApp to send a copy of their ID following an order directly.
Please note that if the client does not comply with this law, Gmash Jewels has the right to cancel and reject the order. Any applicable transactional fees will be deducted directly from the client’s refund.
